ATTENTION RADIOPARADISE.COM USERS!!!
UPDATE: I have gotten tons of support from my flickr friends and from people at Radio Paradise. Thank you! Here's a link to a journal I posted on Radio Paradise with responses from many of the nice folks over there. I imagine our friend Dr_Jones will shortly be deleting her accounts (if they're not deleted for her before she has the chance to do so).
The user you may know as Dr_Jones is not who she says she is. She is really a very sad, sad person who is pretending to be me.
Here's her radioparadise.com profile, and here's her flickr account, which has been comprised entirely of stolen photographs from other flickr users. Most of the pictures that have been posted as "self portraits" are actually pictures of me. Most of her black and white photographs are also mine. She has also stolen photos from my website that were never posted on flickr.
Should I be flattered? I'm not... I'm disgusted. It's too bad that whoever this person is, he/she has such little self confidence and thinks her life is so uninteresting that he/she must steal photographs from another person and try passing them off as his/her own. I also think it's terrible that I can no longer feel comfortable freely expressing myself in a forum that has been dear to me for nearly two years.
Thank you, Alison, for emailing me to tell me about this. I appreciate the heads-up and am doing everything I can to get this person shut down.
